Very helpful owner. Made things easy with our late arrival especially useful with 2 young children. Indeed very easy to get to channel tunnel. Off street parking fairly reliable.
Good to get room for 5 in UK. Good for overnight stop before/after getting Eurotunnel. Very welcoming owner.
we had a wedding to go to and the lady who run the BB lets us in early so we could get change after a long joruney, she was very kind , would go back.
The owner was very helpful and accomodating organising our breakfast the night before as we had to leave the hotel at 6am the next morning for the channel tunnel crossing.
Very friendly host. Pretty house. Rooms are small and staircases steep - but I could have stayed more than one night. Ideal for last night before Channel crossing from.
The hotel was convenient for an overnight stop. It was great that as a family of 5 we could all stay in one room. The continental breakfast included in the price was excellent with good variety. (A cooked option was available at extra cost) The owner was very friendly. The location was within walking distance of eating places. The room was spotlessly clean.
More of an observation than a complaint - you have to be prepared to park your car on the street which was very busy, we were lucky to get a space. Also the extra bed for the fifth person was a bit uncomfortable.
We found it very much like a hostel. the breakfast we were left due to an early starr was very poor..
A small room but it was very clean and comfortable and was good value for the money
The room was very functional, clean. The lady was very welcoming. I left before breakfast so I can't comment on that, but it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay.
Warm friendly welcome, clean and bright room with ensuite, good choices for breakfast, tea & coffee making facilities in room, tv and wifi. Great value for money will always stay at Kentmere on return from France via Dover.
Excellent host Small room but excellently laid out etc Great location Overall very friendly and value for money experience
We have stayed here 7 years ago and the owners have changed but she was reaaly pleasant and friendly. very clean room for 5 of us and beds very comfy with ensuite and tea/coffee facilities. easy parking and plenty of local eateries. For 5 of us it was a fantastic price and although we did not have a full english breakfast as we were leaving at 6.30 am to catch the Eurostar. However we were left with a basic continental breakfast in our room which was fine. grat value for a long or short stay
The Kentmere Guest House proprietor was really friendly and helpful. We had a very early start the next day and she gave us a cool box with a good selection for our breakfast so we didn't miss out. The accomodation is clean, but basic but everything you need for a good night sleep. Would recommend to friends and family and would stay again.
Obliging staff, cheap but very cheerful place
The owner was very friendly and very helpful. I am wheat intolerant and the owner ensured that she had wheat free bread for me on arrival for breakfast the following day. I found the atmosphere pleasant friendly and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and I would stay at the B and B again.
